||Name of the donor : United Nations Development Program ( UNDP ). Objectives: • To develop the institutional capacities of the National Centre for Human Rights (NCHR) to implement its mandate and responsibilities such as monitoring Jordan’s commitment to international treaties and reporting to international treaty bodies. • To support the NCHR in implementing its new responsibilities as chairing the Asia Pacific Forum (APF) of National Human Rights Institutions, and chairing the ICC . • To strengthen the capacity of the NCHR to implement its mandate in terms of reporting on, advocate for, and investigate of human rights violations. Components: • Preparing national and international human rights reports. • Conducting human rights workshops and training courses . • Developing studies, reports and surveys. • Designing human rights training manuals and international treaties guides. To benefit from the expertise of national, regional and international human rights experts.
